79Bike Falcon GT: how to assess the upgrade beyond peak power
Checked

Examine the Falcon GT configuration offered by NYVOLT: 16 kW listed power, Samsung 50S battery, fit and the questions behind an upgrade decision.
The 79Bike Falcon GT attracts attention because of its power specification, but a useful upgrade decision needs more detail. NYVOLT’s offered configuration is listed at 16 kW, with a Samsung 50S 72 V 40 Ah battery. Before choosing it over a Falcon Pro or Lynx, identify what you want the different configuration to improve in your own riding.
This is a specification-based buying guide, not a road test or a measured performance comparison. Delivery to a US address, charging compatibility and service arrangements must be confirmed directly with NYVOLT.
Identify the exact GT before comparing numbers
NYVOLT uses 16 kW in the main specification for the Falcon GT it presents. Other manufacturer references can show 16.8 kW. Treat those figures as a reason to verify the supplied reference, rather than combining whichever numbers make a comparison look strongest. Ask for the model year, battery reference and specification sheet attached to the quotation.
Peak output should also remain separate from continuous output. A maximum figure does not establish sustained performance over a long climb or a full riding session. If a seller makes a performance claim that matters to your decision, ask how it was measured and whether the test represents the version being offered.
Look at battery capacity separately from power
The stated 72 V 40 Ah battery corresponds to 2.88 kWh of nominal energy. That is the same nominal energy calculated from the Lynx’s voltage and capacity figures, although the specified battery cells differ. The GT’s Samsung 50S reference is useful when confirming the order and asking about replacement compatibility.
Equal nominal energy does not prove identical usable energy, range or charging behavior. Likewise, a higher peak power figure does not automatically produce a longer ride. Request the battery and charger instructions for the exact configuration, and match your route plan to realistic conditions with a return margin.
Compare the lower seat with the complete motorcycle
NYVOLT lists the GT seat height at 820 mm, approximately 32.3 inches. That is lower than the listed 855 mm Lynx seat, but it does not establish that the GT will be easier for every rider. The listed GT weight is 68.9 kg including the battery, and the seat’s shape and suspension setup also affect how it feels at a stop.
Consider walking-speed maneuvering, loading and stopping on uneven ground. If you already ride, compare the dimensions with your current motorcycle. If you are less experienced, allow for instruction and a gradual introduction on permitted terrain instead of treating a relatively low seat as a substitute for control skills.
Check the equipment you will use
The offered GT has a 19-inch front wheel and an 18-inch rear wheel, with a Fastace front fork. Confirm the exact tire sizes, included equipment and setup information in the order description. Ask which replacement consumables are stocked and how a suspension or brake question would be handled from your location.
Photographs are helpful for checking appearance, but configuration details belong in the quotation. Do not assume that equipment shown in another market’s images is included with your order.
Decide what the price difference buys you
Compare complete quotations for the GT and your alternative. List the differences that matter to you: power specification, battery reference, seating position, equipment and support. Separate those from differences you cannot verify without a comparable demonstration.
An upgrade is worthwhile when it addresses a clear need and fits the whole ownership budget. Ask NYVOLT to explain the offered GT configuration against your riding experience and intended terrain. A precise answer is more useful than selecting the largest number in the range.
