Falcon Pro vs Surge V: Size, Battery and Buying Choice
Checked

Compare Falcon Pro and Surge V offers by weight, seat height, battery energy and the complete delivered order.
Compare size before peak output
The 79Bike Falcon Pro and Y-VOLT Surge V address different size priorities. The NYVOLT offers checked on October 23 list approximately 59 kg and an 830 mm seat for the Falcon Pro, versus approximately 95 kg and 900 mm for the Surge V. These are advertised figures; confirm the delivered specification.
An extra 36 kg matters when loading a trailer, moving a bike in storage or negotiating a slow section. Check your reach in riding boots and how you will transport the motorcycle. Seat height alone does not describe seat width or suspension sag.
Put battery figures in the same units
The Falcon Pro configuration studied lists 72 V and 35 Ah; the Surge V lists 97.2 V and 45 Ah. Multiplying V × Ah / 1,000 gives nominal energies of 2.52 kWh and 4.374 kWh. This is an arithmetic comparison, not a measurement of usable energy or riding range.
Plan a return reserve. Terrain, temperature, pace, elevation and carried weight change consumption. More nominal battery energy does not guarantee a proportionate increase in range.
Peak power is only one criterion
The studied offers list 10 kW peak for the Falcon Pro and 35 kW for the Surge V. Peak figures are not continuous ratings. Compare brakes, tyres, riding position and available adjustments alongside the motor specification.
If manageable weight comes first, examine the Falcon Pro. The Surge V involves a taller, heavier package. This assessment uses specifications; the magazine does not claim a comparative riding test.
Compare the complete delivered order
Ask each seller to identify the battery, included charger, exact version, documents, delivery charges and warranty terms. Compare delivered totals for the same destination. Prices in foreign catalogues are not automatically comparable with French offers or quotations for the United States.
NYVOLT presents this Surge V as an off-road configuration. If road use is part of your project, confirm the exact version’s documents before buying. The commercial product links below show current finishes and offer details.
